Anti-Blemish Body Wash

This gel is formulated using biodegradable and natural surfactants which create a delicate foam to cleanse the skin while respecting its balance.

As with the face, pimples and blemishes can affect several areas of the body due to an overproduction of sebum and the presence of bacteria in the sebaceous glands. The combination of glycolic acid and tea tree extract helps reduce body blemishes (pimples, ingrown hairs, keratosis pilaris, etc.).

  • Precautions

    Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

    To be used in the evenings only.

    If skin feels uncomfortable, stop using the glycolic acid shower gel.

  • The active ingredients

    Glycolic Acid (6%):

    Glycolic acid is known for its exfoliating power on the upper layers of the skin, as well as for its astringent properties (meaning it tightens the pores). The ultimate cleansing active ingredient, this acid helps reduce the presence of imperfections caused by the accumulation of sebum in the pores which then become clogged. Glycolic acid also makes it possible to break the bonds between dead skin cells in order to eliminate them, leaving a unified and toned epidermis. In addition to its peeling effect, glycolic acid also has moisturizing properties because it stimulates cell renewal and the synthesis of our skin's natural hyaluronic acid.

    Tea tree extract:

    Recognized ally of acne-prone skin, tea tree extract has purifying and anti-bacterial properties, it regulates and cleanses the epidermis.

    Hydronesis:

    Acts against keratosis pilaris and post-depilation redness by promoting the skin's natural renewal processes. Hydronesis hydrates the epidermis for soft, supple skin.

How to use it

In the shower, apply all over the body, then rinse. To be used in the evening only. The mild plant-derived surfactants inside cleanse the skin without damaging its hydrolipidic film. The skin is left soft, supple and comfortable. After your shower, it is advisable to apply a moisturizer all over your body to complete your routine.

Is this gel right for your skin type?

This cleansing gel is suitable for all skin types. However, we do not recommend it for sensitive and atopic skin because of its concentration of glycolic acid.

Why is it recommended to use this product only in the evening? Is it suitable for washing intimate areas, or is it intended solely for body parts prone to blemishes?

The product contains glycolic acid, which is photosensitizing, so it is not recommended for morning application.

Is this product suitable for all skin tones, including black skin?

Our products are suitable for all skin tones. Suitability depends more on the general sensitivity of the skin.

How frequently should this product be used, and is there a need to discontinue use after a certain period?

The product can be used every night.

Does this body wash also help remove dead skin cells?

Yes, glycolic acid helps break the bonds between dead skin cells so they can be eliminated more easily. This exfoliating action may help leave the skin looking smoother and more unified.
