FAQ
All your frequently asked questions about SPF 30 Urban Shield Serum — 1% Resveratrol + Polysaccharides
Is the serum suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women?
The serum is not contraindicated for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If there are any restrictions, they will be mentioned in the precautions for use section. The full list of products not recommended can be found on this page: https://www.typology.com/carnet/quels-sont-les-actifs-interdits-aux-femmes-enceintesDo I need to apply sunscreen after the serum?
This serum is formulated as a secondary sun care product, providing UV protection under normal urban conditions. It is not intended for prolonged use under intense sun exposure, unlike a primary sun care product designed for beach or mountain use. For optimal protection during extended outdoor activities, it is recommended to use a conventional sunscreen and reapply every two hours.Does the serum need to be reapplied during the day?
SPFs generally last for about two hours, but factors such as exposure time, perspiration, swimming, rubbing, and other environmental conditions can affect the protective film. In an urban environment, effectiveness may diminish more slowly. Reapplication throughout the day is possible, although the product is not designed to be applied over makeup. At what age can I start using the product?
The products can be used from the age of 10, unless otherwise specified in the precautions for use.Is the serum suitable for all skin types?
This serum is appropriate for all skin types. Can the serum be used in combination with other skincare products (e.g. moisturizers, serums, etc.)?
There are no contraindications to using the serum with other products from our range. It can be combined with all other face products. Is the serum comedogenic?
Occlusive elements such as mineral oils have been excluded from the products to prevent the formation of imperfections. The list of prohibited ingredients can be checked here: https://www.typology.com/carnet/notre-liste-dingredients-prohibesIs the serum compatible for skin suffering from rosacea/couperose?
The serum has not been tested on skin with this condition, so consulting a dermatologist is recommended.
