Hair Serum: How much should you apply?

Hair Serum: How much should you apply?

The amount of treatment you apply to your scalp influences the results achieved. An excessive or insufficient amount can damage the hair fiber. Hair serums are no exception to this rule. Here is the recommended dosage for optimal use of this type of hair care product.

Hair Serum: What is it and which one to choose?

The hair serum is a beauty product with a fluid texture that is rich in active ingredients. It is a unique product in a hair care routine that helps to treat, discipline, maintain, and beautify your hair. This hair treatment allows you to target and address a specific issue (dry, brittle, oily, thinning, curly hair, etc...). While some serums help to prevent oily hair, others offer regenerative actions to promote hair regrowth. Another unique feature of this cosmetic is that it does not need to be rinsed off, much like the face serum.

How to use a hair serum?

Before any application, we advise you to carefully read the instructions on the back of the product. Indeed, there are two ways to use hair care products. However, regardless of the application or product chosen, one to two pipettes of hair treatment are sufficient. An overdose may harm your scalp or hair fibers.

Hair serum is used after shampoo and conditioner. Its use will entirely depend on the targeted issue, the results it offers, and its formula. The repairing serums and nourishing serums rich in botanical oils are used only on the lengths and ends, on either dry or damp hair. However, the hair treatment products, which do not contain any oily substances, are applied at the base of the hair. It is used section by section on a dry scalp, massaging the scalp to gently promote their penetration and optimize their action. Any excess can be distributed along the lengths.
