In liquid form, as an illuminating powder, or in stick form, highlighters provide a burst of radiance to the complexion and an immediate healthy glow effect.

In liquid form, as an illuminating powder, or in stick form, highlighters provide a burst of radiance to the complexion and an immediate healthy glow effect.

The illuminator, also referred to as highlighter, is designed to provide an overall glow to the face. Unlike the highlighter, it does not focus solely on the high points of your face.
The illuminator is more of a product that diffuses light rather than reflecting it: illuminating products are generally much softer and provide a more subtle glow than highlighters.
Furthermore, certain illuminating concentrates are hybrid treatments, straddling the line between makeup and skincare. They contain mother-of-pearl and/or pigments to give the skin a luminous appearance, as well as active ingredients that boost the skin's radiance such as vitamin C.
The majority of complexion illuminators are either iridescent or matte, and are combined with various shades.
Colorless face illuminators provide radiance and transparency;
Peach or rosy complexion illuminators are the ally for a "healthy glow" effect.
Light, or even very light skin tones, benefit from choosing a rosy shade with golden reflections. An iridescent beige enhances a tanned skin even more. For dark skin tones, opt for an iridescent light brown or an iridescent beige.
Depending on the desired effect, the complexion illuminator offers numerous variations:
The complexion illuminating pen or stick
Convenient for minor touch-ups, the illuminating pen provides a precise and subtle finish. It also works on faint dark circles by blurring them. Its fluid texture captures light. To apply it, you need to click two or three times to saturate the brush. Then, all that's left is to sweep it over the desired areas, dabbing with the fingertips.
The illuminating cream
If you're seeking a comfortable texture and a radiant finish, the illuminating cream is ideal. Given that illuminators are meant to provide a more subtle glow than highlighters, many makeup artists suggest blending the liquid or creamy illuminator with your liquid foundation or moisturizing cream. For a quick and easy application, simply dab a few dots of liquid illuminator on the back of your hand. Then, pour your foundation or moisturizer over the illuminator and blend until both products are completely mixed. Apply as you would normally with your foundation or moisturizer. If you're short on time, apply the liquid illuminator directly to your face, then apply your foundation and blend the two products.
The illuminating powder
The illuminating powder is appreciated for its velvety texture and long-lasting action. Ideal for oily skin, it absorbs excess sebum that tends to shine. The powder illuminator can be used as a setting powder or on its own. However, unlike cream and liquid illuminators, it can be challenging to use your fingers with this type of product. We recommend using a fan brush to gently sweep the product over the tops of your cheekbones and your Cupid's bow for a more subtle shimmer. As the illuminator emits a softer glow than the highlighter, it just gives a more golden or rosy tint instead of shining all over the face.
Our Brightening Complexion Concentrate is formulated from targeted natural ingredients. It is a complex of active ingredients designed for a bright and fresh complexion.
The Vitamin C (5%)
Naturally present in many plants, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, known for brightening the complexion, reducing pigmentation spots, and slowing down the photo-aging of the skin. Extracted from corn, our natural vitamin C is stable to light and heat, and is specially developed to penetrate well into the skin. This molecule helps maintain a luminous skin by trapping free radicals generated by exposure to the sun, pollution, or tobacco. The skin is then better protected from external aggressions.
Thealoe vera
Rich in minerals, vitamins, and amino acids, aloe vera pulp is renowned for its hydrating and soothing properties. Its high water retention capacity helps combat dehydration and soften the skin. It is ideal for weakened or damaged skin. Its soothing action is also appreciated in irritated, sensitive skin or skin prone to redness.
