This is not recommended, especially if you have sensitive skin. Indeed, using glycolic acid and vitamin C at the same time can dry out your skin, cause redness and irritation, and in the worst cases, even lead to pigmentation spots.

For topical application, it is recommended to use a Vitamin C skincare product in the morning and a product containing glycolic acid in the evening.

In the morning, vitamin C protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals and thus from oxidative stress due to its antioxidant properties. This active ingredient thus delays skin aging and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. As a photosensitizing substance, glycolic acid is best used during your evening beauty routine, for its overall exfoliating action that smooths the skin texture and restores radiance to the complexion.
