Potentially allergenic. Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use in children. The essential oil of ginger is dermocaustic and irritating to the skin, so it must be diluted to 20% in a vegetable oil (i.e., 20% essential oil to 80% vegetable oil). Do not use pure essential oil on the skin or mucous membranes. Essential oils should not be applied to the eyes, the area around the eyes, or in the ears.
