Concentration allowed by European regulations : Up to 1% in finished cosmetic products.

Where to find it / them? : Dermatological lotions, shaving foams/gels, CC creams, mascaras, styling gels/hairspray, face creams, eye creams, hair masks, aftershave balms, shampoos, sun care products.

Risks to health: Eye irritant (high).

Risks to the environment : Polluting manufacturing process (ethoxylation).

More information : Prohibited in cosmetic products intended for the seat of children of 3 years or less.
