Caprylyl glycol is used as a emulsifier in skincare products. It promotes the binding of water and oil, thus improving the structure of the skincare product. Capable of limiting the proliferation of microbes, it acts as a preservative agent in skincare formulas. Caprylic acid comes from palm oil, coconut oil, or even mammalian milk. As a naturally derived ingredient, it presents as a clear and colorless liquid.
What is the utility of "Caprylyl Glycol"?
Thanks to its emollient action, it softens and smooths the skin. It penetrates deeply into the epidermis and helps to maintain skin moisture. It also contributes to rebalancing the skin.
