The Importance of Hydrating Your Chest.

Often overlooked, the chest also requires care, just as much as the face, hair, hands, or even legs. Indeed, the breasts are quite delicate, the skin of the décolletage is very thin and sensitive, and they are subjected throughout life to various aggressions. That's why it's important to pamper and hydrate it like the rest of the body. But why is it so important to hydrate one's breasts? How should one take care of them?

Why hydrate your breasts?

Subjected daily to constant friction, battered by numerous hormonal episodes (pregnancy, puberty, menopause, menstruation), compressed by a bra, and repeatedly exposed to the sun, all have detrimental effects on the skin of the décolletage, explaining why it is often dry. Moreover, the skin of the chest, a very thin and fragile area, lacks sebaceous glands. In other words, it does not produce sebum, which is essential to prevent dehydration and loss of firmness. This lack of hydration in the breasts promotes a loss of firmness, skin sagging, and the appearance of a wrinkled décolletage, especially if not properly cared for.

How to take care of your breasts?

First and foremost, start by performing a gentle exfoliation in the shower once a week to achieve a nice skin texture, while avoiding the nipples. This practice stimulates microcirculation and cellular oxygenation. Of course, avoid overly harsh exfoliation of the décolletage, as it may damage the skin.

After your shower, gently dry your chest and apply a dab of body cream or even aloe vera moisturizing gel in a thick layer. When you apply your moisturizer, knead your chest using light circular movements from bottom to top. This massaging action helps to stimulate circulatory exchanges. Adopt this habit every morning and every evening. Indeed, since it is a delicate area, the skin on the chest needs regular hydration.

During pregnancy, consider caring for your breasts by preventing the appearance of stretch marks. These marks are like "breaks" that appear on the skin's surface when the tissues are subjected to excessive stretching. Under the influence of hormones, the breasts begin to enlarge month by month, thus stretching the skin. As a preventative measure, opt for our stretch mark gel with baobab oil. Additionally, this treatment helps to improve the skin's appearance by providing elasticity and flexibility, particularly due to the presence of Maracuja oil and aloe vera juice.
