A trace element naturally present in the body, zinc is essential for its proper functioning. It is involved in many mechanisms, for example in the regulation of the immune response. Thus, a zinc deficiency would be linked to an exacerbation of inflammatory phenomena. For example, if the skin lacks zinc, redness due to imperfections is more intense. Zinc also significantly reduces the production of sebum and is often used in creams for acne treatments. Finally, it is known to limit the development of microorganisms that cause many skin imbalances. The L-PCA part improves the absorption of zinc by the skin (increase of its bioavailability) and supports its hydration.
