How to use orange blossom hydrosol based on your skin type?

In short, orange blossom hydrosol.

It is derived from the hydrodistillation of flowers harvested from the Bitter Orange tree. This thorny shrub with evergreen leaves originates from India or China (the literature diverges on this point). Its fruits are edible but very bitter. The orange blossom is also known as "neroli", named after the Princess of Neroli (an Italian town) who popularized its use in perfumery in the 16th century. This scent was indeed the favorite of King Louis XIV; it became indispensable at court during his reign.

The steam distillation of orange blossom flowers results in two distinct fractions: thehydrosol and theessential oil. Derived from the same plant, these two substances have similar properties, but the hydrosol is less concentrated in active species because the aromatic essences are present in smaller quantities. Therefore, it can be used without contraindications by children and pregnant women, unlike the essential oil.
