The extract of green algae is considered to be safe for use. To date, the topical application of green algae extract has not revealed any potential side effects. Although its use usually does not pose any particular problem, consider performing a skin test on a small area of your body before a full application on a larger surface. In topical application, pregnant and breastfeeding women can presumably use it without risk.
