Our eyelash and eyebrow serum contains several active ingredients to nourish, strengthen, and promote the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows.
This vegetable oil, known for its strengthening and nourishing properties, is reputed to promote the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows. It has been demonstrated that ricinoleic acid, which makes up more than 80% of castor oil, can reverse the process related to hair follicle loss by inhibiting the action of Prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). In addition, it helps to hydrate and strengthen eyelashes and eyebrows, which tend to grow more quickly as a result.
Pea Peptides (2%)
This refers to sequences of amino acids (mainly lysine units) extracted from the species Pisum sativum, an annual plant from the legume family (Fabaceae). Pea peptides possess strengthening properties towards hair follicles (eyelashes, eyebrows, hair). Biologically, they work by inhibiting the activity of the cytokine TGF-beta-1, a protein activated by dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that prematurely triggers the catagen phase of the hair follicle, hastening its fall.
The Biotinyl-GHK / Panthenol combination
Biotinyl-GHK, also known as biotinoyl tripeptide-1, is the product of the reaction between biotin (vitamin B8 or vitamin H) and tripeptide-1 (a three amino acid residue peptide Gly-His-Lys). The panthenol is also known by the names of pro-vitamin B5 and dexpanthenol. It is the precursor of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), a major component of coenzyme A, which plays a key role in the cell and tissue repair mechanism. Biotinyl-GHK and panthenol work in synergy to stimulate the synthesis of collagen and laminin, molecules responsible for anchoring the bulb in the epidermis and thus strengthening eyelashes and eyebrows.
