The Different Types of Ferulic Acid Products.

Ferulic acid is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals generated by pollution, cigarettes, stress and lack of sleep. It is used in various types of skin care formulas. Find here the main information on ferulic acid products.

Ferulic Acid in a Few Lines.

Ferulic acid owes its name to a plant named Ferula, a herbaceous plant that belongs to the Apiecae family. However, this organic acid is also found in certain cereals (wheat, barley), in the bark of trees such as pine or in several fruits and vegetables (rhubarb, grapes, spinach...).

Thanks to its global anti-oxidant power, it brings many benefits to the skin. It acts as a barrier and fights effectively against the aggression of free radicals and thus slows down the appearance of wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. It calms redness and possible irritations. It also helps to brighten and illuminate dull complexions.

The Different Ferulic Acid Products.

Ferulic acid skin care formulas generally contain a percentage between 1.5 and 3% of this ingredient. It is mainly found in serums to lighten and even out the complexion and prevent the appearance of pigmentation spots and/or wrinkles. In night and day creams, it is often combined with vitamin C for an overall antioxidant action. It is also found in the composition of certain sun creams or mists for its ability to neutralize free radicals and thus prevent photoaging.

The Best Ferulic Acid Serum.

Ferulic acid skin care formulas are recommended to target problems such as skin aging, the appearance of unsightly spots and/or wrinkles and fine lines and loss of radiance.

If you're looking for the best serum that evens and smoothes your skin tone while effectively fighting free radical damage, our antioxidant serum with ferulic acid and ashitaba extract is a great choice. You can incorporate it into your regular skin care routine, morning and night. We recommend that you apply 3 to 4 drops of this serum to your cleansed and dried face and neck. Gently massage the skin with circular motions until the antioxidant serum has been absorbed by the skin. We recommend that you use this ferulic acid product for at least 4 weeks to best see the effects.

Please note: As a precautionary measure, this product should not be used by pregnant and/or breastfeeding women as it contains essential oils.
