How to naturally curl your eyelashes, without an eyelash curler?

Not everyone is naturally blessed with curled eyelashes. While nature can be quite unfair in this regard, there are certain techniques available to visibly improve their appearance, resulting in a more open and brighter gaze.

Five tips for naturally curling your eyelashes.

You don't necessarily need to use the famous eyelash curler to achieve beautifully curved lashes. There are tricks that can yield good results. However, before you start, thoroughly clean your lashes with a makeup remover oil suitable for the eyes to remove all traces of makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow) and dirt (pollution particles, etc...). Once your lashes are clean, you can now put into practice the following methods to naturally curl your lashes. Here are precisely 5 of them:

  1. Using your fingers: First and foremost, your hands should be thoroughly washed. Then, rub your hands together to warm the tips of your fingers. Place these against your eyelashes and hold them vertically for at least 10 seconds. Stop when you are satisfied with the result. You can then apply your serum and your usual mascara to set the curl.

  2. Using a cotton swab: In order to curl your eyelashes, you first need to apply your mascara. Then place the cotton swab exactly at the base of your eyelashes on the upper eyelid. Point it upwards, while applying a slight pressure for about 30 seconds. Repeat this action until the mascara dries.

  3. Using the small spoon technique: While the tool may seem surprising, the result is equally so. Arm yourself with a small metal spoon, which you will soak in a container filled with hot water. Once the spoon is heated, without it being able to burn you, place it on the upper lashes starting from the base to the tip, so that the concave part of the spoon is facing outward. Repeat the operation several times and stay a few seconds on the lashes with each pass, gently pressing against the spoon.

  4. With aloe vera and castor oil: Aloe vera and castor oil are natural products, particularly recommended for the care of hair fibers and hairs, which help to hydrate the eyelashes, give them thickness, and manage to curl them without using other techniques. Sold in the form of a gel for aloe vera, it is enough to hold the eyelashes vertically between the fingers for a few seconds for it to act and "set" the curl. This also works with castor oil. You can even opt for the serum equipped with a brush to facilitate application and thus better structure the eyelashes.

If you don't know or don't want to use an eyelash curler, you now know the techniques to do so. Simple, natural advice, to be implemented as often as necessary.
