Not everyone has naturally curly eyelashes. Nature can be quite unfair in this matter, but there are techniques to visibly improve the appearance of your lashes and curl them without an eyelash curler for an open and luminous look.
Five Tips to Curl Your Lashes Naturally.
You don't necessarily have to use the famous eyelash curler to get beautiful curly lashes. There are tricks that can give amazing results. However, before you start, clean your lashes thoroughly with an eye makeup remover oil to remove all traces of makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow) and dirt (pollution particles, etc…). Once your lashes are clean, you can now put into practice the following methods to curl your lashes naturally. Here are 5 of them:
With your fingers: First, your hands must have been thoroughly washed. Then, rub your hands together to warm your fingertips. Place your fingertips against your lashes and hold them vertically for at least 10 seconds. Stop when you are satisfied with the result. For longer lasting curly eyelashes, you can then apply your usual serum and mascara to set the movement.
Using a cotton swab: To achieve curly lashes with this technique, you must first apply your mascara. Then put the cotton swab exactly at the base of your lashes on the upper eyelid. Point it upwards while applying light pressure for about 30 seconds. Repeat this gesture until the mascara dries.
With the small spoon technique: Curling your eyelashes with a spoon may seem surprising, but so is the obtained effect. Take a small metal spoon and soak it in a container filled with hot water. Once the spoon is heated, without burning you, place it on the upper lashes from the base to the tip, so that the concave part of the spoon faces outwards. Repeat several times and stay on the lashes for a few seconds each time, pressing gently against the spoon for the result of beautiful curly eyelashes.
With aloe vera and castor oil: Aloe vera and castor oil are natural products to obtain curly eyelashes. They are particularly indicated for the care of hair fibers and hairs, which allow moisturizing the lashes, to give them thickness and to succeed in curling them without using other techniques. Sold in gel form for aloe vera, it is enough to hold the lashes vertically between the fingers for a few seconds for it to act and “fix” the curvature. It also works with castor oil. You can even opt for the serum equipped with a brush to facilitate the application and thus better structure the lashes.
If you don't know how to use an eyelash curler, you now know the techniques to obtain curly lashes. Simple, natural tips to apply as often as necessary.
