Botanical name: Olea europaea sativa.
Extraction process: First cold pressing of the pulp from olives derived from organic farming.
Family: Oleaceae.

Location: Mediterranean Basin (southern France, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Morocco...).
Flowering: From May to the end of August.
Provenance, origin: Tunisia.
Phytochemical composition: Polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid), monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid, heptadecanoic acid, palmitoleic acid, gadoleic acid, erucic acid, eicosenoic acid), saturated fatty acids (behenic acid, arachidic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, lignoceric acid, myristic acid, margaric acid), phytosterols (beta-sitosterol, campesterol), squalene, tocopherols (alpha-tocopherol, beta-tocopherol, gamma-tocopherol), chlorophyll, polyphenols, hydroxytyrosol, phenolic compounds, oleuropein.

Preservation Method

Store in a dry place at room temperature (< 35°C), in a dry location protected from light, heat, and air. However, if placed at too low a temperature (< 14°C), the oil may solidify and white crystals may form. These conditions do not in any way alter its quality. However, these crystals disappear if the oil is returned to room temperature.

Contraindications, Usage Precautions

There are no contraindications to the use of olive vegetable oil. No sensitization has been revealed. It can be used by pregnant and/or breastfeeding women, as well as young children.
