Oily skin is characterized by an excess of sebum. This lipid film secreted by the sebaceous glands primarily serves to protect the skin. However, when produced in excess, the skin tends to shine and the obstruction of pores can lead to imperfections. Discover the beauty routine to adopt to purify your oily skin.

How can we determine if we have oily skin?
An oily skin is typically shiny and greasy. These characteristic traits are due to an overproduction of sebum. Secreted by the sebaceous glands, it contributes to the protection of the skin. However, in large quantities, it creates a favorable environment for the formation of blackheads and pimples.
Furthermore, the skin appears dull and thick, the skin texture is uneven, and the pores are visible and enlarged. If you recognize yourself in these descriptions, you clearly have oily skin, but fear not! A suitable beauty routine can help you cleanse your epidermis to regain healthy skin.
How to take care of oily skin?
We recommend opting for treatments containing active ingredients with purifying, mattifying, and astringent properties, such as theazelaic acid, AHA (glycolic acid, lactic acid, etc...), BHA (salicylic acid, etc...), the niacinamide, the zinc PCA, etc... Several steps are essential for purifying oily skin.
Remove your makeup every evening.
No matter your skin type, removing makeup is a crucial step. Apply the cleansing oil directly onto your face until all makeup has completely disappeared. Complement this step with the micellar water containing 7 ingredients.
Proceed with the daily cleansing of your skin.
Wash your skin with a gentle cleanser that respects the skin's balance (alcohol-free, fragrance-free...). Otherwise, the skin will react by producing more sebum. You can use our rebalancing cleansing care with nettle, handcrafted in France and 100% natural. Cold saponified, it consists of eucalyptus globulus essential oil and nettle powder.
Alternatively, you can apply our purifying cleansing gel. Enriched with purifying active ingredients such as zinc PCA, this cleansing gel sanitizes the skin, regulates sebum production, and limits the development of blemishes. You can then apply the peppermint hydrosol to rebalance the skin's pH. It's worth noting that for oily skin, cleansing with a washing gel can be done only in the evening to avoid stimulating sebum production. In the morning, simply apply the hydrosol to sanitize your skin.
Provide targeted care.
Start by applying thematifying serum highly concentrated in azelaic acid. It helps regulate sebum production for a matte-looking skin. Contrary to popular belief, do not neglect the daily hydration of your skin. Then apply the purifying face cream. Enriched with sebum-regulating and antibacterial agents like zinc PCA, this cream purifies the skin and combats skin imperfections.
Exfoliate your skin daily.
The glycolic acid serum helps to eliminate sebum for smoother and more unified skin. It is only applied in the evening. Note, it does not rinse off! The first uses can cause slight redness as the skin gets used to the molecule. These effects fade after several uses. However, it is not recommended for sensitive skin.
Create face masks.
To regulate sebum production and unclog blocked pores, our purifying mask with charcoal and green clay with a clay-like texture should be applied once or twice a week on clean, dry skin.
