Soin contour des yeux à 30 ans.

Which eye contour should you choose at 30 years old?

The delicate eye area quickly reveals signs of fatigue and the passage of time. However, a treatment tailored to its specific issues and the stage of its skin aging can help to mitigate these signs. What eye care and which active ingredients should be prioritized during one's thirties?

Eye contour at 30: what are the needs?

The eye contour, and more broadly the skin, undergo several changes around the age of 30. First and foremost, we observe the initial declines in the synthesis of collagen and elastin by the fibroblasts. These protein fibers ensure the flexibility, elasticity, and tone of the skin. That's why it's not uncommon to start noticing fine lines at the corners of the eyes around 30 years of age.

The amount of hyaluronic acid in the dermis is also decreasing. This biomolecule ensures the hydration and density of the skin. Moreover, a slowdown in certain fundamental biological processes is observed at 30 years old. This is particularly the case for the cellular renewal and the microcirculation.

Eye contour at 30 years old: what issues does it encounter?

The eye contour at 30 years old begins to show thefirst wrinkles. The skin is no longer as flexible as it once was and begins to be prone to skin sagging, due to the decrease in collagen and elastin synthesis. The eye contour can also be subject to dark circles or bags due to a slowdown in microcirculation and a rather fast-paced lifestyle. Indeed, the thirties are often a time of fatigue, whether it's due to a high level of commitment in one's professional life and/or the arrival of a first child.

30 years old: preventing the first wrinkles.

At 30, it's important to hydrate the eye contour and delay the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Therefore, it is advisable to turn to firming and hydrating eye contour care, the latter property being essential to protect the eye contour from water loss, which is responsible for the appearance of fine lines. Tensing agents, on the other hand, help prevent the appearance of crow's feet wrinkles.

It is also beneficial to choose eye contour treatments that bring radiance and freshness to the gaze when you're in your 30s. Lack of sleep and less efficient blood and lymphatic circulation are indeed factors that promote dark circles and bags under the eyes.

The active ingredients to prioritize during your thirties.

At 30, we recommend you to focus on an eye contour care product that contains both moisturizing agents, which will compensate for the weakening of the hydrolipidic film and the decrease in hyaluronic acid levels, and tightening agents to provide support to the skin. We therefore recommend eye contour care products rich in hyaluronic acid, in glycerin, in aloe vera gel, in pro-vitamin B5 or in squalane, agents that provide hydration to the skin. To prevent and reduce the signs of skin sagging, opt for care products that also contain firming ingredients, such as Q10 or prickly pear oil.

If you also have dark circles or bags under your eyes, you can alternate this treatment with another eye contour product based ondraining and decongesting active ingredients, such as caffeine or cornflower hydrosol. These ingredients help to reduce bluish dark circles and water-filled bags, caused by a slowdown in microcirculation. For pigmented dark circles, which have a brown color, we instead recommend eye contour treatments rich in depigmenting and brightening active ingredients such as vitamin C, resveratrol, or ferulic acid. These molecules are inhibitors of tyrosinase, an enzyme that plays a key role in the synthesis of melanin. In addition, they have antioxidant properties that allow them to fight against free radicals, which accelerate photoaging and can lead to hyperpigmentation.

Note : after applying the eye contour treatment, it is important to protect the entire face with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, including the area around the eye. Being very thin, it easily allows UV rays to penetrate. You can also opt for an eye contour treatment containing SPF.

Eye contour at 30 years old: any recommendations?

At Typology, we offer several eye contour treatments suitable for individuals in their thirties, addressing the specific concerns of this age group.

  • The eye contour cream : enriched with Q10 (INCI: Ubiquinone) and prickly pear oil (INCI: Opuntia Ficus-Indica Fruit Extract), this treatment hydrates and prevents the appearance of the first wrinkles and fine lines. It works by stimulating cellular regeneration and preventing the degradation of collagen as well as the loss of skin elasticity.

  • The eye serum : concentrated at 5% in caffeine, a draining active ingredient, this serum promotes blood and lymphatic microcirculation to reduce bluish dark circles and decongest eye bags. Applied morning and evening, it provides initial results after 4 weeks of use, when accompanied by a healthy lifestyle.

  • Thecornflower hydrosol : obtained by distillation of cornflower blossoms from organic farming, this gentle treatment soothes the skin and decongests the eye contour.

Tip : If you wish to prevent the early signs of aging while reducing your dark circles or bags under your eyes, we recommend alternating between our eye contour cream and our eye serum. For instance, apply the serum in the morning to refresh your gaze and use the cream in the evening to strengthen the area around the eye.
